🍁THE AUTUMN ALCHEMY COLLECTION: A LITTLE SCULPTURE TO WEAR

The Brick-Red Shibori &  Marbled Pinecone Brooch

: Built upon an elite, completely organic foundation featuring a 2-inch diameter natural coconut shell core. The dense shell disk is padded with wool to deliver a luxurious, cushioned dimensional presence that can never warp or sag.

* Wrapped in premium Vintage Japanese Kanoko Shibori Silk in a deep, fiery brick-red and burnt-orange color spectrum. The iconic, hand-pinched geometric knobs create a rich, tactile pattern that dynamically catches the natural daylight.

At the base of the brooch is a cluster of clear quartz crystal beads

* The Sculptural Pinecone Focal: Cascading elegantly from the lower baseline is a substantial 1.5-inch tall by 0.5-inch wide custom clay half-pinecone. The pinecone molded from a proprietary multi-color autumn clay blend, creating organic geological striations unique to this exact composition

* The Black Spinel & Garnet Inlay: Embedded directly into the individual raised scales of the clay pinecone is a rare, highly reflective Black Spinel gemstone bead paired with a rich, fiery spessartite garnet bead accent, flashing with intense crystalline light under direct sun.

* Finished flat on the reverse with a, antique-finished round pin backing.

* Provenance: 100% One-of-a-Kind Composition. Hand-built by KimAdorns.

 AUTUMN ALCHEMY🍁 COLLECTION: WEARABLE TEXTILE ART

Shibori Brooch Heritage Statement✨️

Every brooch within the Autumn🍁 Alchemy Collection is constructed upon a foundation of rare, pristine Vintage Japanese Kanoko Shibori Silk. from master-woven, meticulously preserved heirloom textiles, this fabric represents an elite pinnacle of traditional artistic craftsmanship

A specialized form known as Kyo-kanoko shibori developed in Kyoto during the Edo period and remains a symbol of high-end craftsmanship, frequently used on luxury kimonos.

Unlike modern, mass-produced machine prints, authentic Kanoko Shibori is a multi-dimensional artistic process. Each individual, raised geometric knob is carefully gathered, pinched, and tightly bound by hand before entering the dye bath. When the ties are released, it leaves a permanent, highly structural three-dimensional texture that catches and transforms natural daylight as you move.

Hand-sculpted over a wool padded 2.inch diameter  coconut shell core, these brooches possess an exquisite depth of color and tactile presence that elevates them entirely into the realm of museum-grade fine art. A little sculpture to wear.
